We just wanted to let you know how grateful we were to receive such prompt and friendly service in the delivery process. Chris was so helpful in re arranging his delivery schedule that morning as our generator “died” at about 5am due to the lack of propane. We were hopeful that they could get the truck through all the storm damage. Your driver( I didn’t catch his name) was also very helpful and friendly when he arrived at 8:30 am. We have been Daniels customers for many years. You always come through!

By the way, you have the BEST Customer service. Tim came to my house last week, just for a gas fireplace installation and I’m changing to you from Osterman for my gas deliveries. Even on the phone your customer service can’t be beat. Just so you know, I’m impressed.
Daniels replaced our HVAC system last fall for one that would provide reliable, consistent heat and cooling throughout the house. From the first meeting with David DeTuccio and Keith Tyler to thoroughly discuss the project with excellent advice, to the professional installation team, and continuing with expert regular maintenance, we have been most impressed with the service we have received.
If any of you are looking for a heating/AC company for service, I thought I would share my experience with you. Gail and I have used three different companies over the past eleven years that we have lived in the Village. One of them stands out for service and honesty - Daniels Propane & Daniels Energy. We started with Fox. We were underwhelmed by their service. Next was Harp. If anyone wants to know our Harp experience, I will be happy to share it. Let’s just say there was a trust issue.
Daniels is a breath of fresh air. We had a problem this past weekend. We are signed up for one of their Maintenance Plans offered to our community. Their serviceman for our community, Ron, came out on Sunday, worked on our AC, decided a part was needed and that he wouldn’t be able to get the part till Monday. When he got home (a 45 minute drive) he discovered that he could locate the part and proceeded to drive back out here immediately. He fixed the system and we were back to AC.
Ron has performed our maintenance plan checks over the years and has been there for us before. We have huge confidence in him and in Daniels Propane & Daniels Energy. I don’t know about you, but we are not from the area and thus have had mixed results when trying to get help for various things. That makes our experience with Daniels stand out all the more.
Daniels was recommended to us by the long time previous owner of the house we just purchased. They are very professional, courteous and punctual. We plan to continue using their services.

I more than satisfied with the professional treatment I have receive from everyone I have talked to and encountered from Daniels Energy. They have installed new equipment in a very timely fashion during this past holiday season, and when I have need deliveries they are very quick to fill my tank. I can personally say they are the Best Propane/Oil Company I have ever dealt with.
We had used Daniel's Oil for years when we lived in Haddam. Recently moved to Middlefield, and now have gas heat in one wing of the house. Initially, we were going to use another propane company, but that turned into a frustrating mess. We called Daniels and have been pleased ever since. Everyone we've dealt with has been very helpful, knowledgeable and professional....no need to look anywhere else!
I am writing to you to inform you of my experience with an employee of yours. By the name of Joel Salafia and another person who's name I am unaware of that happened to be along to help Joel on January 21, 2020. I had no heat in my home and I called Daniels to make an appointment for someone to check it out and fix it. My lack of heat turned out to be a major emergency causing me to evacuate my home due to a propane leak. Joel was a splendid service man who informed me" to immediately evacuate my home quickly". He and his partner were on their phones one of them was calling the fire department, and Joel I believe was on the phone with Daniels. Their quick response and professional attitude were point on. They were here for approximately 4 ½ hours.
I came back to the house to see how it was going and Joel informed me that they were having a problem fixing the pipe however he was not leaving until all was completed and he checked out all appliances to ensure they were all in working condition. I feel the service he rendered was above and beyond the call of duty. I felt very comfortable with his job and wanted to voice my opinion of a great employee you have on board you are fortunate to have him.

On Dec, 9th your tech John was at our house at in Middle Haddam working on our gas fireplaces when my wife Betty fell in the kitchen hitting her head on the floor. She was bleeding and I couldn’t help her as I am handicapped. Fortunately, John was close by and heard me call for help. He immediately came to her aid and got her in a sitting position to slow down the bleeding from her head and called 911. He attended to her until the ambulance arrived. Betty is fine now thanks in part to his fast response and extra effort which we really appreciate.
We wanted to send you a note telling you how much we appreciated the extra effort and what a terrific person we think your employee John is. You can certainly be proud of the way he represents your company.
